Haynes International is one of the world’s largest developers, manufacturers, and distributors of high-performance nickel- and cobalt-based alloys for use in high-temperature and corrosion applications. Our standard product forms include sheet and plate, bar and billet, seamless and welded pipe and tubing, wire and welding consumables, fittings and flanges.

SITUATION

The client wanted to update Corporate and Investor Relations websites.

THE CHALLENGE

• Overall look and feel to be fresh and modern.

• Better navigation, and focused markets on the homepage.

• Mobile friendly, “movement” and visual interest added to the site.

WHAT I DID

• Analyzed competitor's sites to find ways on improving usability and interface based on best practices.

• Prepared the wireframes for both mobile and desktop, got client approval, and worked on the user interface.

• New concepts for the IR site to be distinguishable from the Corporate site.

THE IMPACT

• Worked to align experience between Corporate and IR sites strictly following their brand guidelines.

• Fixed the navigation and hierarchy.

• Delivered a clean, clear, inviting UI with subtle text effects on hover and subtle animations.
